The games themselves aren't necessarily bad, in fact most of them are rather enjoyable - Slash It 2 for example, has a pretty neat gameplay, beautiful graphics and an amazing soundtrack. The 7 games listed above have a combined total of 4,252 achievements, most which can be achieved in two or three hours, and are the main reason why they're critically panned by the members of achievement-hunting communities (AStats, TrueSteamAchievements, etc). and probably some others I forgot to mention. Not for the gameplay, not for the story, not for the graphics. The majority of achievement hunters feel that it's stupid and unfair as it cheapens the achievements they've spent years getting, while many others are more than happy to buy these games just to get the achievements. Recently there has been an influx in games that comes with thousands of Steam Achievements that are ridiculously easy to get, and the reaction to this has been strongly mixed.
